An empty roof space rebuilt as a bright room. Steel takes the load, spray foam seals the roof, a new floor goes down, and plaster and paint finish the job.
Every rafter, tie and brace cut by hand and fitted on site. With the timbers left on show, the roof itself becomes the feature of the room.
Slate and lead roofs fail at the joins. We repair the valleys, flashings and flat sections properly, so the water stays on the outside.
